How do you get the wood wick to stay lit?

When you lighting the candle for the first time, make sure it has formed a melted pool of wax that is melted all the way to the edges of the jar. This can take 3-4 hours. Like a traditional cotton wick, wood wick also require a little attention so you may find that you need to re-light the first time to allow the wax to start flowing up the wick. If the candle is not staying lit, it may because the wick is too long or needs to be trimmed clear of charred material. Gentle trim the wick so it short and clean so to enable the flame to draw wax upwards from the wick and make a flame. This can be done with a wick trimmer or simply pinching the excess wick. If when burning the candle for long period of time you notice your flame getting too low, it may be necessary to extinguish the flame and when cool tap off any excess ash or burnt wood along the top of the wick. Be gentle when snapping off the ash or top of the burned section along the top edge and then light as usual. The flame will return to its proper height.

Are the fragrance used in your products natural?

We only use 100% natural fragrance or essential oil blends in our products. The oil type used in each product is labelled clearly on our collection page and also on each individual product. We use natural fragrance blend and essential oil blend; both are eco friendly and non-toxic.

Why does my candle burn with a yellow colour?

All of our 300ml candles hand poured in the glass jars are white in colour and made in the pure colour form of the wax. If the candle is exposd to direct light, this may cause the candle to darken however this does not affect the burn or overall quality of the candle.
